New Long Stratton Leisure Centre to open 18th March
28/02/2019 - South Norfolk Council

On 18th March the newly renovated Long Stratton Leisure Centre will open its doors following a £2 million improvement scheme. The new centre which includes a new fitness suite, changing facilities and a café will be revealed to the public for the first time.
Cabinet member Yvonne Bendle said: “South Norfolk Council is continuing to invest in the health and well-being of our residents. Our £4 million investment in our Wymondham Centre has been a great success and we have also just opened a fantastic facility at Kett’s Park, following an investment of £1.2 million. The new centre will have something for everyone and will be a great place for families and friends to spend time together.”
To celebrate the opening the Council is giving away a year’s memberships to one lucky member. Everyone who joins before 18 April 2019, will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win this great prize.
The new centre offers a bright new multi-tiered Bananas Soft Play and toddler area, to keep little ones entertained while parents and carers enjoy a coffee and a catch up with friends in a new café – that will also be offering light lunches and healthy snacks.
A brand-new class programme featuring over 40 classes, will mean fitness enthusiasts will have plenty of choice and there really will be something for everyone.
