Energy grants still available from BEE Anglia

BEE Anglia has European funding to support businesses in Suffolk & Norfolk to implement energy efficiency improvements, with grants of up to £50,000 still available.

The scope for grant funding has now been widened to enable any energy efficiency measure to be considered, with approvals based on the ability to demonstrate sufficient associated energy savings.

BEE Anglia are able to consider the following energy saving measures for funding:

• LED lighting & lighting controls
• Electric or hybrid electric vehicles
• Vehicle tracking hardware
• Heating & heating controls
• Heat recovery systems
• More efficient equipment

Mark J Streeter, Managing Director of Courtesy Taxis in Norwich, received funding and says; “Without the grant funding from BEE Anglia I wouldn’t have been able to purchase as many new vehicles all at once, knowing that the vehicles are much more energy efficient, the fuel savings are immediate – it’s a win win situation! All the BEE Anglia team are so helpful through the whole process I would thoroughly recommend.”

• Grants of up to £50,000 are available for businesses to implement energy efficiency measures
• Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis
• Intervention rates will vary on a project to project basis, with the maximum rate of 28%

BEE Anglia will come to a close in December 2018 and any business interested is encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
