The Head East regional cultural campaign is promoting new walking experiences by the Interreg EXPERIENCE Project.
The new routes for the autumn and winter months wind through spectacular rural and coastal landscapes in Norfolk, immersing walkers in nature’s sounds, smells and textures. Itineraries designed to give walkers a memorable travel adventure, which are personal, engaging, and supportive to emotional, physical, and mental health.
Walkers are invited to choose from the below – or do all four!
- Twilight Time in Buckenham Marshes (starting point is Buckenham Carr, October – March)
- Sunrise to Moonrise in Great Yarmouth (starting point is North Denes dunes, October – March)
- The Twilight Broads (starting point is NR12 0BS and access is via Stubb Lane, October to March)
- In search of Sea Buckthorn with tasty gin liqueur recipe (Sheringham / Cromer cliff-top path in October and November)
