Work starts on new central Norwich houses

Flagship Group continues its commitment to solving the housing crisis as work begins on nine new houses in the centre of Norwich.  Planning consent was obtained for the townhouses and terraced homes last year, with works due for completion in June 2019.

The Kings Gate development will consist of four two-bedroom and five three-bedroom houses.  The bespoke homes will help towards the ongoing regeneration of the area.

This will be Flagship Group’s first open market scheme in Norfolk, enabling Flagship to invest in their core purpose, providing homes for people in need.

Tony Tann, Managing Director of Flagship Homes (Development) said: “We are excited by this development, it is a great addition to our growing portfolio and shows that we continue to diversify in our offering to help solve the housing crisis in the East of England.

“We are proud to be building high quality homes in a great location which will have appeal to a wide range of people.”

Flagship Group provides homes for affordable and market rent, and for sale across the East of England. The group maintains its own housing stock and supports the communities they’re part of. They do this through the housing arm of the business Flagship Homes, repairs and maintenance specialists RFT Services, and gas and boiler specialists Gasway.

The group owns and manages over 22,500 homes, has a turnover of £135m and employs over 800 people.
