East of England’s leading family charity, Ormiston Families, is calling on local businesses to support its new ‘Add a splash of colour this Christmas’ fundraising campaign.
The campaign, which features mascot Penelope Penguin, offers organisations a festive fundraising resources pack, which includes 12 fundraising ideas, a poster, a festive greetings sign-up sheet and how to guide. Also included is a sweepstake where companies and their staff can guess the colour of Penelope’s hat, scarf and mitts.
CEO of Ormiston Families, Allan Myatt, says: “I am thrilled to launch a new festive fundraising campaign at a time when our vision has been revitalised. Ormiston Families aims to support families to build resilience and make choices to improve the life chances of their children.
Broadway Colours, Ashton’s Legal and Colour Marketing Services are kindly sponsoring the campaign.
Every pound raised will contribute towards the charity’s wide ranging support for children, young people and families in the East of England. The money raised could help pay for a children’s Christmas party whilst visiting a parent in prison. It could help pay for counselling sessions for children experiencing mental health difficulties or pay for a year’s worth of travel expenses to take a group of children out for the day.
