Barclays Bank brings “Test the Team” quiz to Norwich

Barclays Bank will for the first time be bringing their famous ‘Test The Team’ quiz to Norwich and have chosen local children’s charity, Fresh Start – new beginnings as the recipient of money raised on the night.

How can I get involved?

The quiz will be held on Wednesday 6^th February at Norwich City F.C. Carrow Road.  Arrival will be from 5.30pm onwards, with refreshments from 5.45pm and the quiz starting at 6.45pm. Teams of up to 5 people are invited at £10 per head.  Barclays Bank are match funding all donations and quiz entry fees, ensuring a fantastic quiz night out while raising funds for charity.

Who does Fresh Start Help?

The charity works with children and young people up to the age of 21 across Norfolk and Suffolk, delivering a therapeutic service to those who have disclosed sexual abuse. It works to take away the blame, shame and feelings of guilt and also offers support for families.

Jo Grant, Clinical Lead of Fresh Start – new beginnings commented “we are delighted to have been chosen as the charity Barclays are supporting.  It will help us raise awareness and much needed funds to help us work with children on our waiting list.  Once a child has disclosed sexual abuse they should not have to wait for a service.”

Minnie Molls of Jarrold’s Norwich and patron of Fresh Start new beginnings added “We are thrilled that local businesses are coming together to support Fresh Start new beginnings.  It going to be a good evening for supporting the charity, finding out about the work they do and also networking opportunities with other local businesses within the area.
