Carter Jonas builds on their team with 4 new recruits

Carter Jonas, the national property consultancy, has boosted its Infrastructure & Energy team with
four new appointments including Greg Hilton, as partner, Steve Hopley and Tom Packham, as
associate partners, and Stuart Steel as a geographic information systems (GIS) manager.

Energy specialist Greg Hilton is based out of Carter Jonas’ Cambridge office, One Station Square. He
has more than 15 years’ experience in developing, delivering and managing renewable and
conventional energy infrastructure, having previously held roles at Flogas Britain Ltd, GG Eco
Solutions Ltd, Bidwells and The Greenery. Hilton works with landowners, developers, investors, and
businesses to develop and provide strategic advice on a range of energy technologies, including solar
PV, flexible gas generation, electric vehicle charging, biomass and biogas.

With over 30 years’ property experience, Steve Hopley has worked across both the public and private
sectors delivering innovative estates and regeneration strategies, initiatives and projects. He joins
from Amey Plc where he held the role of Estates Director – Consulting Property. At Carter Jonas,
Hopley is tasked with further developing the firm’s full-service capabilities across its infrastructure and
energy network with a particular focus on the North West of England.

Tom Packham joins Carter Jonas’ Birmingham office based in the Infrastructure team and is a key
point of contact for many clients, including HS2. Packham has managed land and property
compensation and access required to support major infrastructure schemes in the utility sector and
has extensive experience in multi-site contract management for the provision of project management,
facilities management and professional estates services.

Stuart Steel brings more than 16 years’ GIS experience, including 14 years with Atkins as an awardwinning
geospatial consultant, providing a range of services including digital solutions architecture,
project management, spatial analysis, information and data management and software development.
